First Keeping
Customer Data Within The Bank
The Compass Internet Banking Platformª is physically
located within the bank's secure operations center,
under complete control of the bank and its operations
personnel. This is in direct contrast to outsourced
Internet Banking vendors, who electronically obtain
all the bank's customer data daily, to a server
located in a nameless/faceless datacenter somewhere
across the country. |
Second Installations
Directed By Certified Engineers
Prior to installing the Compass Internet Banking
Platformª Beacon Software consults with the banks
internal and external IT & Security team, in conjunction
with our certified partners, to ensure all security
and privacy concerns have been addressed. These
include Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Services,
Network Configuration, and System Monitoring just
to name a few. Once installed, Beacon Software continues
to work closely with these IT/Security professionals,
adjusting and updating the banks security, as they
are needed. |
Third The Bank
Has Total Control
The Compass Internet Banking Platformª allows the
bank, based on their level of comfort, the ability
to configure what types of Internet services they
wish to provide their customers. These configurations
can range from the basic (customers ability to transfer
funds) to advanced (minimum customer password length
& character set) to the complete (firewall configuration
that shuts off system access based on predefined
rules). As the bank's comfort levels change, they
are able to adjust their Compass Internet Banking
Platformª configuration to stay inline with the
bank's overall risk and tolerance levels. |
Fourth Customer
Comfort
Banks and their customer's understand total and
complete Internet Banking security is not assured
nor guaranteed, therefore Beacon Software believes
that a bank is much better equipped to understand
and manage these risks from within their infrastructure,
which will ultimately provide a much higher degree
of protection and comfort that their customers expect
daily. |
